The Louey Awards, presented annually by the Louisiana Travel Association, celebrate excellence in the tourism industry and acknowledge organizations and individuals that go above and beyond in their commitment to promoting their respective regions, a news release said.
West Feliciana Parish stood out among the award winners with three honors.
The West Feliciana Parish Tourist Commission, operating under the banner of Visit St. Francisville, won the Louey Award for Outstanding Convention and Visitors Bureaus/Tourist Commissions of the Year in the budget up to $499,999 category.
“We are incredibly honored and humbled to receive the Louey Award for Outstanding CVBs/TCs of the Year. This achievement reflects the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our team and board, as well as the overwhelming support we receive from our community and partners,” said Devan Corbello, executive director of Visit St. Francisville. “We believe in the power of tourism to transform communities, and this recognition fuels our commitment to continue promoting West Feliciana Parish as a premier destination.”
