Priyanka Chopra is quietly brewing a storm. Months after headlining the globetrotting Prime Video dud Citadel, the actor is gearing up for her next adventure. According to a casting call that has surfaced online, Priyanka Chopra is set to star in Russo Brothers backed film The Bluff, a period drama set in the 1800s.
A Reddit user shared a screengrab of the casting call for the film, set to be directed by Frank E Flowers. Interestingly, The Bluff was originally supposed to star Zoe Saldana–known for Avatar and Gurdians of the Galaxy– when details of the film were first reported a year ago.

The casting call details requirement of a 13-year-old half Indian character, who has cerebral palsy. “Performers with mobility disabilities are strongly encouraged to submit,” the note reads.
The casting call has also revealed the film’s logline, which reads, “In the 1800s, a woman (Priyanka) defends her family and village from a brutal pirate attack on their remote Caribbean Island as her past finally catches up with her.”
Priyanka Chopra’s next Hollywood film “The Bluff” is being produced by The Russo Brothers. It is a period drama set in the 1800s. The shooting starts in June, 2024.

Priyanka Chopra has previously featured in Hollywood films like Baywatch, The Matrix Resurrections and last year’s romantic comedy Love Again. Season two of Citadel is also reportedly in the works, which would feature Priyanka and Richard Madden.
