It seemed like 2023 was the year it became cool to be really, really cool – freezing to be precise. The popularity of the ice bath escaped beyond athletes’ recovery rooms and everyone from the likes of Lizzo, Harry Styles, Hailey Bieber and Joe Rogan appeared to be singing the praises of the cold plunge.
While this latest biohacking trend has been around since the Romans – the benefits of which are claimed to include improved circulation, reduced inflammation and boosted metabolism – TCS World Travel is jetting the therapy into the 21st century with a unique jet expedition that is based entirely around taking the plunge.
The Nordic Adventure swaps the Balearics for the Baltic, the Dalmatian coast for the Labrador Sea, with a 20-day itinerary that takes guests directly to the coldest waters across Northern Europe and Scandinavia.

The trip begins in the world’s northernmost capital, where guests can explore Reykjavík’s modern dining scene or embark on outdoor adventures such as snowmobiling and volcano hiking, before climbing to the top of the world in Greenland.

Those who may be feeling the freeze can warm up in the land of the sauna with a couple of days in Finland, before continuing to Copenhagen for another three nights.
Other highlights include day trips to the medieval city of Tallinn in Estonia, and the Faroe Islands to explore the archipelago’s virtually untouched natural treasures.
