(CNN) – Mother nature and the continued grounding or the Boeing 737 Max 9 are wreaking havoc on air travel in the United States.
According to the website “FlightAware,” at least 1,100 flights into, out of, or withing the U.S. have already been cancelled Saturday as of noon.
That includes the more than 300 combined U.S. flights that Alaska and United Airlines have cancelled following last week’s incident aboard an Alaskan Airlines flight.
As a winter storm continues to impact large portions of the country, the number of cancellations will likely increase.
