Amtrak is launching a limited-time sale for travelers who want to skip the hassles of driving on I-95 between the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast and Florida and bring their vehicle aboard the Auto Train.
Through February 8, 2024, customers can book travel in Coach for as low as $35 or a First Class private room for as low as $235 plus the cost of a vehicle. For those traveling with the whole family, fares for kids aged 2-12 start at just $17.50.
Customers traveling in Coach enjoy wide, reclining seats with plenty of legroom, no middle seat and a large window to enjoy the view. Plus, all Auto Train Coach interiors have now been refreshed with new seating cushions and upholstery, carpeting and window curtains. Prior to arrival, a complimentary continental breakfast is served.
For extra comfort and additional privacy, travelers can upgrade to a First Class private room. Accommodation options include a Roomette—featuring two comfortable seats that transform into upper and lower beds by night—or a Bedroom offering twice the space of a Roomette as well as an in-room sink, restroom and shower.
