A homeless woman wanted for armed robbery allegedly shot and killed a Hollywood music producer while he sat in his car, police announced.

Kayla Delise Mackie, 27, was charged with murder Tuesday, five days after William James Edwards III was found in “grave condition” while parked on a Santa Monica street.

The 46-year-old producer — who worked with rappers Travis Scott and Lil Cobaine — died shortly after he was rushed to a nearby hospital, Santa Monica cops said.

Mackie, who police described as “currently experiencing homelessness,” was picked up the following day in West Los Angeles.

Her motive for allegedly pulling the trigger on Edwards is still not yet clear.

“Last week’s senseless killing on 29th Street has left all of us shocked,” Santa Monica Mayor Phil Brock said in a statement.

“Nothing can take away the pain this incident has brought to Mr. Edwards’ loved ones and our community as a whole.”

Edwards worked as a producer in Los Angeles, collaborating with rappers like Travis Scott and Lil Cobaine. He is also listed as a producer for a 2018 movie called “Haunting on Fraternity Row,” as well as two short films.

Lil Cobaine, whose real name is Cayman Harrison Cline, mourned Edwards’ loss in an Instagram post, calling the producer his “family.”

“There’s so many important memories we shared, so many laughs, cries, fights, breakthroughs and iconic stories you told me that people couldn’t even fathom,” the rapper wrote alongside a carousel of a dozen photos of the pair throughout their nine-year friendship.

Edwards leaves behind two young sons and a wife, according to a GoFundMe that described the producer as “a talented man that excelled at everything he did.”

Police said witness descriptions were crucial in tracking down Mackey, who was also wanted in Los Angeles for armed robbery and attempted homicide.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office could not immediately elaborate on Mackey’s prior alleged crimes.

She was charged Tuesday with Edwards’ murder, as well as armed robbery and attempted homicide.

Mackie is being held on a $2 million bond at the Century Regional Detention Facility, records show.

The Hollywood murder comes just weeks after another homeless woman was charged with gunning down social justice advocate Michael Latt.

Jameelah Elena Michl, allegedly stormed her way into Latt’s home because he was friends with a movie director she had been stalking, cops said.
