Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect.
Hazards:
Locally heavy snowfall with accumulations near 5 cm.
Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 3 cm per hour possible.
Significantly reduced visibility at times in heavy snow.
Timing:
Tapering off tonight.
Discussion:
Lake effect snow off Georgian Bay will continue this evening before tapering to flurries tonight.
