A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow will be in effect from 12 Noon Thursday until 6 am Friday.  Total snow accumulations up to two inches with the heaviest snowfall in northeast Nebraska. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will bring concerns for blowing snow and reduced visibility.

The Lincoln area could see an inch today with slightly higher amounts to the North and Northeast of Lincoln.  Winds will be strong 20-35 mph Thursday with higher gusts likely.  Visibility will be reduced especially in rural areas.

WIND CHILL ADVISORY WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST FRIDAY…and…WIND CHILL WATCH REMAINS WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING…

Bitter cold will return Friday and Saturday mornings with wind chills ranging from 20 to 35 degrees below zero.
