Catch soccer fever in Berlin this summer. Travelers can immerse themselves in local culture during EURO 2024: European Soccer Championship. Berlin is hosting an extensive program, including public screenings, an opening concert, and the iconic fan mile in front of the Brandenburg Gate. The event will take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024. You will be in the middle of all the action with more than 1.5 million fans expected to attend.
Historic Ceremonies
Berlin is a city steeped in history and on November 9, 2024, an important milestone will be celebrated in the captial. The city will honor the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The historic event will include official ceremonies on November 9, but celebrations will take place all year long, including open-air events, exhibitions, guided tours and interactive activities.

Berlin is known for its museums. In fact, the city’s Museum Island is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2024, Berlin celebrates the 250th birthday of the prominent German Romantic painter, Caspar David Friedrich. At Berlin’s Old National Gallery, an exhibition will feature 60 paintings and 50 drawings from Germany and abroad. The exhibition runs begins April 19 and finishes on August 4, 2024.
